Throughout each legislative session, the Mississippi Division of Medicaid will be assembling a collection of materials and fast facts for the public to utilize. These materials cover a variety of different subjects such as agency overviews, coordinated care, enrollment numbers, annual reports and budget presentations. This page will be updated as necessary with more information as the session progresses.
Medical Care Advisory Committee
The Mississippi Medical Care Advisory Committee is comprised of not less than eleven members appointed by the Governor, Lieutenant Governor and the Speaker of the House of Representatives. Appointed members must be either health-care providers or consumers of health-care services. The Medical Care Advisory Committee is statutorily required to advise the Mississippi Division of Medicaid about health and medical care services in accordance with Miss. Code. Ann § 43-13-107(3).
