State Plan Amendment (SPA) 18-0009 Indian Health Services (IHS) Encounter Limit has been approved by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to allow the Division of Medicaid to reimburse IHS up to five (5) outpatient visits per beneficiary per calendar day for professional services at the most current applicable rates published in the Federal Register or Federal Register Notices effective June 1, 2018.
