Public notice for TBI/SCI Waiver transition plan

Under the provisions of Title 42, Section 431.408, Code of Federal Regulations, public notice is hereby given to the submission of the Traumatic Brain Injury/Spinal Cord Injury (TBI/SCI) Waiver transition plan for Home and Community Settings, effective July 1, 2014 through June 30, 2019.

  1. Based upon the State’s assessment of the HCBS settings in the Traumatic Brain Injury waiver, the State confirms that services in this waiver are rendered in a home and community setting. Waiver participants reside in private home dwellings located in the community. This waiver does not provide services to participants in either congregate living facilities, institutional settings or on the grounds of institutions. Therefore, no further transition plan is required for this waiver.
  2. A public hearing and teleconference regarding contents of this notification will be held Thursday, May 22, 2014, at 1:00 p.m., in the 4th floor conference room at the Division of Medicaid, Office of the Governor, Bureau of Long Term Care, Walter Sillers Building, Suite 1000, 550 High Street, Jackson, Mississippi 39201.   3. A second public hearing and teleconference regarding contents of this notification will be held Thursday, May 29, 2014, at 1:00 p.m., in the 4th floor conference room at the Division of Medicaid, Office of the Governor, Office of Long Term Care, Walter Sillers Building, Suite 1000, 550 High Street, Jackson, Mississippi 39201. To join the teleconference dial toll-free 1-877-820-7831 and enter the attendee access code: 2558125.
  4. The public notice and comments are available for review at www.medicaid.ms.gov.
  5. Written comments will be received by the Division of Medicaid, Office of the Governor, Office of Policy, Planning and Development, Walter Sillers Building, Suite 1000, 550 High Street, Jackson, Mississippi 39201 for thirty (30) days from the date of publication of this notice. Comments will be available for public review at the above address and at www.medicaid.ms.gov.
