This update of the Medicaid Vital Signs dashboard contains enrollment and expenditure data from the second quarter of 2023. Launched in early 2019, Vital Signs displays key Mississippi Medicaid metrics allowing anyone to quickly check certain Medicaid statistics and follow recent program trends.

The graphs below show May expenditures for Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) and the number of waiver participants by month. Because there is a one-month delay in reporting data for waivers, June figures will appear in the next Vital Signs.
