Providers encouraged to RSVP for Medicaid fee-for-service workshops

Beginning Sept. 19, the Mississippi Division of Medicaid (DOM) will host seven workshops around the state aimed to informing and updating health-care providers about fee-for-service Medicaid.

The Medicaid Evolution Fee-For-Service Workshops will cover a range of topics that relate to all provider types enrolled in the Mississippi Medicaid program. Representatives with DOM’s Office of Client Relations will provide information on issues such as provider enrollment, presumptive eligibility, newborn enrollment, third party liability and more. The workshops will not touch on the MississippiCAN program, as coordinated care was covered in an earlier workshop series. All providers with Medicaid questions are encouraged to find the workshop closest to them and RSVP on the attached form.
