The ID/DD Waiver provides services to individuals who, but for the provision of home and community-based services, would require placement in an Intermediate Care Facility for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities. The ID/DD waiver is administered by the Department of Mental Health, Bureau of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.

Who is Eligible for the Intellectual Disabilities/Developmental Disabilities Waiver?
Individuals in this program must qualify for one of the following eligibility categories:
- Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
- Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)
- Disabled Child Living at Home
- Income up to 300% of the SSI federal benefit rate

Public Notice for the ID/DD Waiver Renewal
Pursuant to 42 C.F.R. Section 441.304(e)-(f), public notice is hereby given to the submission of the Intellectual Disabilities/Developmental Disabilities (ID/DD) Waiver Renewal. The Division of Medicaid, in the Office of the Governor, will submit this proposed renewal to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) for the ID/DD Waiver effective July 1, 2018, contingent upon CMS approval.
