State Plan Amendment (SPA) CHIP # 18 Incarcerated Youth is being submitted to allow the Division of Medicaid (DOM) to comply with amendments made by Section 5121 of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2023 (CAA, 2023) which requires states attest to coverage of screening and diagnostic services, that are currently available under the CHIP State Plan, for incarcerated juveniles who are within 30 days of their release, effective January 1, 2025.
