The Mississippi Division of Medicaid has created a SharePoint-based portal for pending appeals regarding reimbursement rates and/or a recoupment action by the Division. (See 23 Miss. Admin. Code, Pt. 300, Chp. 3, R. 3.1).
Providers seeking to file an appeal regarding reimbursement rates and/or a recoupment action should refer to the agency’s decision letter regarding the process to file the appeal. Once the appeal has been filed and a docket number has been assigned, you may request access to the portal to monitor the pending appeal. Access requests should be emailed to Medicaid.Appeals@medicaid.ms.gov and should include the appeal docket number, the name of the person requesting access, and that person’s relationship to the appealing provider.
