Intermediate Care Facilities for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ICF/IID)

The Division of Medicaid (DOM), Office of Mental Health is responsible for monitoring Intermediate Care Facilities for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ICF/IID) surveys from the Mississippi State Department of Health Licensure and Certification Branch (L&C). DOM enforces penalty recommendations from L&C on ICF/IIDs enrolled as Medicaid providers that are out of compliance with the state and federal regulations. DOM has the discretion to impose civil and monetary penalties and other remedies when recommended by L&C.

The Office of Mental Health is responsible for the monitoring and enforcement of State and Federal policy and certification requirements for enrolled as Medicaid providers.
