State Plan Amendment (SPA) 26-0002 is being submitted to allow Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) mobile units to operate under the same Medicaid provider number as the affiliated FQHC, remove the requirement that FQHC mobile units be surveyed by the Mississippi Department of Health, and no longer require a separate approval letter from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid services (CMS) for FQHC mobile units to provide services, effective April 1, 2026.
