The Office of the Governor, Division of Medicaid in the State of Mississippi complies fully with the non-discrimination provisions of all State and Federal regulations, including the requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Age Discrimination Act of 1975, the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, and Section 1557 of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010 in that no individual shall on the grounds of age, race, color, sex, national origin (including limited English proficiency), or physical or mental disability be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving federal financial assistance, such as from the Department of Health and Human Services.
