An eligibility hearing is a legal process that you may ask for if you do not agree
with a decision that has been made about your Medicaid eligibility.
A request for an eligiblity hearing must be submitted within 30 days from the date
that you receive notice of action taken on your Medicaid case.
The request may be submitted by writing a letter to your Medicaid Regional Office
or the Medicaid State office or by completing a "Hearing Request" form which you
may obtain from your Medicaid Regional Office.
